SEELEY, MARGARET A. "PEGGY" (BARBER) 75, died Jan. 20, 2015. She was the wife of the late Robert Seeley and loving mother of Barbara A. Seeley, Debbie L. DeBellis, Heidi M. Singleton and her husband Russ, and the late Mary S. Crossen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday Jan. 26th at 10:00 am in St. Francis de Sales Church, 301 School St. North Kingstown. Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Margaret A. "Peggy" (Barber) Seeley

Margaret A. "Peggy" (Barber) Seeley, 75, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 at South County Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert Seeley. Born in Scranton, Penn., she was a daughter of the late Christopher Barber and Margaret A. (Burnell) Barber.

Mrs. Seeley was a homemaker and the head waitress of the Fleet Reserve Association Club 42 for many years. She was an active Communicant of St. Francis de Sales Church. She was a loving mother and nanny who excelled at spoiling her cherished grandchildren. Her hobbies included drawing, painting, crocheting and sewing.

She leaves her three loving children, Barbara A. Seeley of Warwick, Debbie L. DeBellis of Cranston, and Heidi M. Singleton and her husband Russ of North Kingstown. She was the mother of the late Mary S. Crossen. Cherished grandmother of Jessica Thomas; Robert and Christopher Seeley; Pasquale, Angela and Chelsea DeBellis; James, Jayden and Jackson Singleton; and five great-grandchildren with one eagerly expected. She was the sister of Dorothy Treski, Joan Taylor and Christine Ambrosia, all of Scranton, Penn.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, Jan. 26, 2015 at 10 a.m. in St. Francis de Sales Church, 381 School St., North Kingstown. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends were invited to call on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Cranston-Murphy Funeral Home of Wickford, 140 West Main St., Wickford Village, North Kingstown. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the North Kingstown Food Pantry, P.O. Box 132, North Kingstown, RI 02852 will be appreciated.
