Margaret Louise Seeley (nee Cook), 86, of Hobart, passed away in St. Mary Medical Center, Hobart on Saturday, April 4, 1998. Margaret was born in Gary's first hospital, St. Mary Mercy. She attended Emerson High School in Gary from kindergarten thru high school. She attended the National College of Education in Evanston, Illinois, and Indiana University. She taught kindergarten in the Gary Public School System. Member of the of Hobart First United Methodist Church, the Methodist Southlake Hospital Auxiliary, the Meshowke-To-Quah Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution and the Indiana Retired Teachers Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Barron Seeley. She is survived by two sons, Mark Seeley of Hobart and Scott (Debra) Seeley of Hobart and grandson, Matthew; brothers, Jack (Merle) Cook of Lawrenceville, GA. and Edward A. (Evelyn) Cook of Cordova, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services Wednesday, April 8, 1998 at 10 a.m. in the Burns Funeral Home, (Hobart), (corner of Rt 51 and 7th Street) Rev. William Kaster and Rev. Michael Goodspeed officiating. Interment, Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary. Friends may call at the Burns Funeral Home, Hobart, on Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. (Phone 219-942-1117.
