MCBAIN - Myron Clarence "Mike" Seeley of McBain died Friday, July 5, 1996 at Ogidaki, Ontario while on a fishing trip with his daughter and son-in-law. He was 79. He was born July 27, 1916 in Michigan to George Henry and Maud Hood Seeley. He married Katie Quist June 27, 1946 in Cadillac. Mr. Seeley farmed in the Cadillac area and was a welder. He lived in the Cadillac area most of his life. He was a member of Rehoboth Reformed Church in Lucas and the Christian Service Center in Yuma, Ariz. where he spent his winters. He is survived by four children, Jack (Jean) Seeley of Orlando, Fla., Bill (Maurie) Seeley of Crystal Lake, Ill., Annette (Cal) Bouma of Jenison, and Kay (Jack) Weston of Cadillac; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother, Ed (Peg) Seeley of Cadillac; several nieces and nephews and lots of friends. He was proceeded in death by his wife November 8, 1979; a brother, Wellington Seeley; a sister, Ora Childs; and his parents. Services are 1 pm Wednesday at Rehoboth Reformed Church in Lucas, Rev. Carl Regnerus officiating. Burial will be in Richland Township Cemetery in Lucas. Visitation is 7-9 pm today and 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday at Burkholder Funeral Home in McBain. Memorial contributions may be made to Reformed Chiapas Missions. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
