Myron Springer Seeley

Myron Springer Seeley, 77, Topeka, died Friday at a Topeka Hospital after a brief illness. He was born Dec. 21, 1904, in Moline, KS, the son of Alvin Earle and Katherine Springer Seeley. He was reared in Butler Co., KS and moved with his family to Russell Co., in 1920. Mr. Seeley was graduated from RHS in 1921 and K.U. in 1927 with a bachelor of science degree in business. Mr. Seeley retired from the Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. in 1970 after more than 42 years with the utility firm. The former Russell resident was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Topeka.

He married Gerdine Young Sept. 22, 1928, at El Dorado. She survives. Other survivors are a son, Myron S. Seeley, Jr. Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. Frances K. Racine, Melrose, MA; and Mrs. Faith L. Dumler, Russell; four grandchildren and one gt. grandchild.

Services at 9:30 a.m. Mon. March 15, at the church with Dr. Kenneth L. Mauldin officiating. Burial will be in the Russell City Cem. Penwell-Gable Mortuary in Topeka is in charge.
