Publication Robert "Bob" Charles Seeley, a native of Taylor, Michigan, and resident of Prairieville, LA, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2014, at the age of 70. He was a caring and loving husband, father, and brother. Robert was a member of Healing Place Church. He courageously served our country in the U.S. Army. Robert never met a stranger, loved people, and his dogs and cat. Robert is survived by his wife, Pat Seeley; daughters, Sherry Oliveto, Kelly Nicks and husband Billy, Rhonda Hoffman, Tammy Galford, and Tracie Gillian and husband Jerome; sons, Bryan Seeley, Richard Hoffman and wife Sue, Bobby Hoffman, Thomas Smith and wife Sandra, Todd Morgan and wife Suzette, Troy Morgan and wife Theresa, Trevor Morgan and wife Kristy, and Travis Bowling; 10 granddaughters; 10 grandsons; and two great-grandsons; sisters, Marie Baker and Ellen Ford; brothers, Paul Seeley and Dave Seeley. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benton and Veda Seeley; two brothers, Richard and Wes Seeley; and sons-in-law, Mike Oliveto and Jerry Galford. Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Saturday, May 31, 2014, from 8:30 a.m. until service time. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., conducted by Pastor Johnny Green. It was Mr. Robert's request for people attending his service to wear jeans.
