Bob was born on May 8, 1953 to Edward and Myrtle (Cline) Seeley in Centerville, Iowa. He attended school there and graduated from Centerville High School in 1972. After high school he attended Indian Hills College where he earned an associate’s degree in liberal arts. While working for Fisher Controls in Marshalltown he met Sally Schmidt. Bob truly was a jack of all trades and a master of none and loved tinkering with anything and everything. His favorite past times were spending time with his family, enjoying his time with his grandchildren, restoring and working on cars, wheeling and dealing, gardening, and cooking.

Those left to cherish his loving memories are his loving wife of 37 years Sally Seeley of Baxter, IA; children Jana (Gabriel) Hechler of Ocean View, HI, Jen (Curt) Booth of Collins, IA, and Joel (Adriane Young) Seeley of Polk City, IA; grandchildren Hayden Seeley, Grant Booth, and George Hechler; sisters Joyce Hart of West Des Moines, IA, Marilyn (Dean) Shepard of Centerville, IA, and Marie (Harry) Daugherty of Seymour, IA; brother Ed (Lauretta) Seeley of Centerville, IA; many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
