Robert E. Seeley, 65

Robert E. Seeley, 65, of Wareham, died May 3, in the McCarthy Care Center, Sandwich.

He was born in Wareham and lived there all of his life. He graduated from Wareham High School.

Mr. Seeley was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Mr. Seeley was a self-employed automobile mechanic. He was an avid auto racing enthusiast and enjoyed working on his cars.

Survivors include his parents, Earl J. and Sally (Oliveira) Seeley of Wareham; a brother, Steven O. Seeley of New Bedford; 2 sisters, Julianne Monteiro of Lynnfield and Pamela Seeley of Wareham; his partner, Kim Gomes of Wareham; several nephews, nieces and great-nephews and great-nieces. He was the brother of the late Earl Seeley.

His funeral will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St., Wareham.

Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Visiting hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
