SOUTH BEND - Robert N. Seeley, 82, of South Bend, IN passed away at 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2012 in Hospice House, South Bend. He was born on February 19, 1929 in South Bend, IN to Michael and Dorothy (Nelson) Seeley. On April 11, 1959 in South Bend, IN he married the former Irene (Boros) Wruble.
Mr. Seeley is survived by his wife, Irene Seeley of South Bend, IN; son, Michael Seeley of South Bend, IN; step daughter, Renee (Doug) Tuveson of South Bend, IN; two grandchildren, Courtney and Desiree Seeley; four step grandchildren, Andrea, Amy, Doug, and Angela Tuveson; eleven great grandchildren; sister, Patricia Altic of AZ and two nieces, Rhonda and Kimberly. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Seeley and a nephew, Donald Altic.
Mr. Seeley lived most of his life in South Bend, spending the last thirty years in Michigan. He served his country honorably in the United States Army in Korea. Mr. Seeley was self employed in the restaurant business in Michigan until 1990.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2012 in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend.
