Virginia June Seeley, age 89 of Clear Lake, passed away on Thursday June 14, 2012 at the New River Medical Center of Monticello. Visitation will be Sunday June 17, 2012 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Clearwater Methodist Church, 405 Main Street, Clearwater. Further visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Monday. Funeral services will be Monday June 18, 2012 at 11 AM at the Clearwater Methodist Church with Rev Ken Felska officiating. Interment will be at Clear Lake Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are with the Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel of Monticello.

Virginia was born on August 17, 1922 in Clear Lake to Anthony and Margaret (Van Heuvlin) Gohman. She was united in marriage to Laurence Seeley on April 21, 1941 in Little Falls and the couple lived and farmed their entire married lives in the Clear Lake area. She was a longtime member of the Clear Lake Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary of Clear Lake. She was involved with the Great River Regional Library. Virginia was an Avon representative for over 20 years in the Clear Lake area. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Clear Lake Gardening Club.

She is survived by six children Sharon (Jack) Gallagher of Clear Lake, Glen (Carol) Seeley of Axtell, TX, Lonny (Fran) Seeley of Becker, Larry (Debbie) Seeley of Clear Lake, Brenda (Jack) Peterson of Clear Lake, Randy Seeley of Clear Lake; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; brother Herbert (Angie) Gohman of St. Cloud; and sister Violet Fletcher of Simsboro, LA. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; husband Laurence in 1996; granddaughter Deanna Seeley in 2010; sister Louise Zindler; and brother Ken Gohman.
