W. Parker Seeley, Bridgeport Lawyer

BRIDGEPORT, CONN. – (AP) – W. Parker Seeley, 60, Bridgeport lawyer and three times Connecticut amateur golf champion, died today at Bridgeport hospital where he had been under treatment for a heart ailment.

A native of this city and a graduate of Yale university and the Harvard Law school in the class of 1917, Seeley was a World War I pilot who aided in founding the Stratford airport now owned and operated by the City of Bridgeport.

Seeley, who was a member of the Board of Park Commissioners at his death, was Connecticut amateur gold champion in 1913, 1922, and 1934. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Helen Wheeler Seeley, two sons and a daughter.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
