Seeley – Died at his home in Woodville, Jan. 4th, Addison Seeley, aged 80 years. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Clara Cornaire of Woodville, and several grandchildren, including Emmett Bates of this city.
Funeral services were held Monday from the home; interment in St. Lawrence cemetery.
The deceased was a former resident of this city, and at one time conducted a grocery store here.

Former Cape May Man, 80, Died January 4
Addison Seeley, aged 80 years, who resided with his daughter, Mrs. Joseph Cornaire, near Southwick’s Beach, died last Friday morning at 2:30. Mr. Seeley had been in failing health since last summer. Death was due to the infirmities caused by old age.
For many years Mr. Seeley was a salesman for the International Harvester company. He travelled Northern and Central New York, and had many friends throughout that territory., He retired as salesman about 17 years ago and then went to Fulton where he opened and conducted a grocery store for about 15 years. He sold out his business in that city a little over two years ago and came to this section. He made his home in Watertown until last March when he moved to his daughter’s home.
Mr. Seeley was a native of Cape Vincent. He was born here April 26, 1854, a son of the late David and Milissa Dodge Seeley. He was married twice. His first wife, Marion Emery, died August 17, 1909, and his second wife, Clara Emery, died on March 9, 1933.
He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Cornarie, with whom he made his home; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday of this week at 1:30 p.m. from the home of his daughter. Burial was made in St. Lawrence cemetery.

Those who attended the burial services of Addison Seeley, of Henderson at the cemetery here Monday afternoon were Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Comins, Morris Cornwell and Stanley Percy. Mr. Seeley was well known in this locality.
