Mrs. Amos Seeley

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Alice Seeley, 68, wife of Amos Seeley of Haverhill, who died Thursday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Sparks, 1917 17th st. The last rites will be conducted in Haverhill Methodist church with Rev. E.L. Cochran officiating. Interment will be in the family lot in Buckeye cemetery.

The body may be viewed at the Lynn funeral home late today and on Saturday morning will be taken to the residence in Haverhill, where it will remain until the funeral hour.

A life-long resident of Haverhill, Mrs. Seeley was born Aug. 29, 1878, a daughter of James and Elizabeth Storey Graff. On Dec. 20, 1905, she was married to Amos Seeley, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, James of Sugar Grove and Amos Jr. of Haverhill, high school teacher and basketball coach in Clay twp; four daughters, Mrs. Pearl Henson and Mrs. Sparks of Portsmouth, Mrs. Edna Spence of Dayton and Elizabeth Seeley at home; two brothers, Charles Graff of Marion and John Graff of Knoxville, Ill., and 13 grandchildren. Mrs. Seeley was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Louise, five brothers, including her twin, Ellis, who died several years ago.

Mrs. Seeley was a life-long member of Haverhill Methodist church and was active in the affairs of both the Haverhill and Franklin Furnace church societies.

Last rites for Mrs. Alice Seeley, 68, wife of Amos Seeley of Haverhill, who died Thursday, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Haverhill Methodist church. Rev. E.L. Cochran will officiate. Mrs. Seeley passed away at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Sparks, 1917 17th st, but the body now may be viewed at the Seeley residence in Haverhill. Burial will be in the family lot in Buckeye cemetery.
