Angela (Ficarelli) Seeley

Angela (Ficarelli) Seeley, 62, passed away peacefully after a brief illness at her home in Catskill on Feb. 20, 2011 with her family and friends by her side. Born in Brooklyn on Feb. 4, 1949, she was the daughter of the late James Ficarelli and Rose DeVincenzo.

Angela worked for many years in the Catskill School District serving the kids of the community, but her true life's work was her family, who she always put first.

In addition to her husband Jeffrey, Angela is survived by her children Vincent Seeley and Vanessa Seeley-Brodowski, both of Catskill, and Ashley Seeley of Manhattan; and her grandchildren Mackenzie Zajac, Isabella and Liliana Seeley, and Matyas Brodowski, all of Catskill. She is also survived by her brother Leonard Ficarelli of New Jersey and countless friends.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, Feb. 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Traver & McCurry Funeral Home. To remember Angela in a special way, memorial contributions can be made to Community Hospice Foundation, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, N.Y. 12144.
