Anna Esons Seeley, 91, formerly of East Hartford, died May 24, 2002, at the Mystic Manor Nursing Home.

She is survived by a son, Francis "Ed" Seeley, and his wife, Lorraine, of Westerly; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held from the Callahan Funeral Home, East Hartford, Friday, May 31, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass at St. Mary Church, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.

SEELEY, Anna E.

Anna E. Seeley, 91, formerly of East Hartford, former wife of the late John Sele, passed from this life on Friday, (May 24, 2002) at the Mystic Nursing Home, Mystic. Anna was born in Worcester, MA, the daughter of Edward J. and Anna (Baltrusaitis) Esons, and had lived in South Windsor before moving to the East Hartford community. Prior to her retirement in 1974, Anna had been employed by SNET for over 28 years as a phone operator. She was a member of the Pioneers of the Phone Co., and had belonged to the South End Seniors Club and the AARP. Anna also did volunteer work for the American Red Cross. Anna is survived by her son, Francis Edward Seeley and his wife Lorraine of Westerly, RI; and by her four grandchildren, Lynne Robbins of Jericho, VT, Paul Seeley of Foxborough, MA, Lora Milczewski of Port Ewen, NY, and Luanne Nicholson of Troy, NY. She also leaves her eight great grandchildren; along with three nephews and two nieces. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Friday, May 31, 9:30-

10:30 a.m., at the Callahan Funeral Home, 1602 Main St., East Hartford, before preceding to St. Mary's Church, 15 Maplewood Ave., East Hartford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Hartford. Anna's family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy be made in the form of memorial donations in Anna's name to Alzheimer's Association, 96 Oak Street, Hartford, CT 06106.
