Ann M. Seeley, 49, of Northern Boulevard, Hagaman, NY, passed away suddenly Thursday morning at her home.

Ann was born February 8, 1961 in Amsterdam, New York; she was the daughter of Phyllis Palilunas Penman and the late Leland Penman. She was a lifelong area resident. In 1979, she graduated from Amsterdam High School where she received her CNA. She also attended Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester and FMCC.

Ann was first employed as a nurse's aide at Mt. Loretto Nursing Home and was later employed by Price Chopper in Amsterdam as a cashier, until retiring two years ago due to ill health.

She was a parishioner of the former St. Casimir's Roman Catholic Church and over the years she enjoyed crocheting and working on crossword puzzles.

Survivors include a son Robert L. Seeley of Hagaman; a daughter, Janice K. Seeley of Hagaman; her mother, Phyllis Penman of Hagaman; a brother, Gary Penman and his wife Vicky of Pattersonville; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, two great nieces and cousins. Ann was predeceased by a daughter; Kristin M. Seeley who passed away in 2007 and a brother; David L. Penman who passed away in 1988.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 27 at 11:00 am at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY with the Rev. Stanley Swierzowski officiating. Burial will take place in St. Casimir's Cemetery in Amsterdam. Family will receive relatives and friends Monday evening from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
