Bernard F. Seeley Sr., 64, of Homer Glen, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007, at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

He grew up in Joliet and lived for the past 36 years in Homer Glen.

A veteran of the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1964, he was a sheet metal journeyman and a past member of Local 50 and present member of Local 265. He retired in 2003 after working for 12 years for Zanella Air Conditioning and Heating.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard M. and Frances (Ciuffini); and his in-laws, Joseph and Marie Nannemann.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary Lou (Nannemann); four children, Bernard Jr., Tracy (husband Tracey) Kannmacher, Daniel (wife Corinne) and Brian; five grandchildren, Cole, Kendall and Josey Kannmacher and Jacob and Abbey Seeley; one sister, Kathleen (husband Ronald) Raspolich; one brother-in-law, John (wife Donna) Nannemann; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 22, at St. John Vianny Church in Lockport. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.

Memorials to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association would be appreciated.

O'Neil Funeral Home in Lockport handled the arrangements.
