Bernard R. Seeley, 78, of 510 State Highway 67, St. Johnsville, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at Little Falls Hospital.

He was born July 9, 1927 in Little Falls, the son of the late William and Hazel (Myers) Seeley and was educated in Little Falls Schools.

His marriage to Ivy Marie Barclay took place on September 25, 1948 in Gloversville. The couple shared a blessed union of 29 years until the passing of Mrs. Seeley on July 3, 1978.

Mr. Seeley was owner and operator of the Seeley Farm in St. Johnsville.

Bernard was a life member and honorary trustee of the Palatine Settlement Society and a member of the Saratoga National Buttle Museum.

Survivors include his sons, David W. Seeley and his wife Mary Jane of St. Johnsville and Martin R. Seeley and his wife Candice of St. Johnsville; his daughter, Barbara J. Seeley of Canajoharie; a brother, Gordon Seeley and his wife Ora of Stratford; a sister, Idella Benson of Little Falls; 2 grandchildren, Theresa Clark and her husband Joel of New Hampshire; and Scott Seeley of St. Johnsville; 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

He was predeceased by 2 sisters; and 1 brother.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, N.Y. Spring interment will be in St. Johnsville Cemetery.
