Betty S. Seeley BETTY SEELEY Betty S. Seeley, 78, of Harleysville and a resident of the Indian Valley since 1976, passed away March 9, 2011 at Grand View Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Seeley, Sr., in 2003. Born May 21, 1932 in Sandy Hook, CT, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Muriel (Kiernan) Seman. She attended school in Newtown, CT and later attended nursing school. She was employed as a nurse's aide for many years at Souderton Mennonite Homes and ManorCare Health Services in Lansdale. Mrs. Seeley was a member of Church of the Holy Spirit. She was deeply devoted to her family and cherished quality time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Surviving are three sons, William Seeley, Jr. of Harleysville, David Seeley and his wife, Donna, of Ulster, and Scott Seeley and his partner, Susan, of Philadelphia; a daughter, Patty Stigliano and her husband, Tom, of Pennsburg; a brother, Walter Seman and his wife, Marcia, of Venice, FL; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11AM Monday, March 14, at Church of the Holy Spirit, 2871 Barndt Road, P. O. Box 575, Harleysville, PA 19438, where family will receive friends beginning at 10AM. Burial will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park. For those desiring, contributions may be made in her memory to the church at the address above to benefit the bird sanctuary.
