Publication Seeley, Carolann (Cookie) Saginaw, Michigan Went to be with her Lord Sunday, January 21, 2007, at her home surrounded by her family after a brief illness. Age 64 years. Carolann Marie King was born December 26, 1942, in Saginaw, the daughter of Charles King and the late Emily King. Carolann was a wonderful cook and won many awards for her Chili and Decorated Cakes. She was a wonderful supporter of her children and other family. She did her best to be there for those in need. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her. Surviving are four sons, Jeffrey Post, Robert (Rosalee) Post, James Post and Dawn, and Charles Post; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Cottenham, Melissa (Mike) Hare, Kasandra and Devan Post, Elizabeth Post, James Post Jr., Meredith Post; six great-grandchildren, J'Lyn, Darryl, Jayson, Alaina, Logan and Skylar; her father, Charles King; a brother, Joseph (Diane) Hudson; four sisters, Donna Scott, Nan (Will) Abner, Jan (Cliff) Shephard, Michelle (Adam) Oswald; sister-in-law, Edith Sayan and family; a special aunt, Maxine Mertz; several nieces and nephews; cousins, Robert (Sheri) Mertz, and Dr. William (Susan) Mertz. Carolann was predeceased by her mother, Emily, her step-mother, Lois M. King and her uncle, Chester Mertz. Funeral services will take place 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2007, at the W.L. Case & Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road Rev. Joseph Atchinson will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral Home on Mackinaw Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the family. A special thanks to Terry and Sue from Hospice and VNA and all the staff, for all their help and kindness.
