Mrs. Seeley Dies In Her 73rd Year

Mrs. Gerard Underhill Seeley, 72, of 12 Fitchett street, died yesterday in Vassar hospital where she had been a patient the last seven weeks.

A lifelong resident of this city, Mrs. Seeley, the former Carrie Herman, was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Laufensweiler Herman. She was educated in local schools and was a member of the Christian Science church. Her husband, a route man for Kelty’s bakery for 65 years and later an employe of the store of Luckey, Platt and Co., died in 1946.

Surviving are three sons, Walter, Raymond and Gerard Seeley, this city, and three grandchildren, Kristine, Gerard and Patricia Seeley, this city.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Schoonmaker chapel, 73 South Hamilton street, at 2 o’clock, Monday. David Thompson of the Christian Science church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Poughkeepsie Rural cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel between 7 and 9 o’clock tonight and tomorrow night.
