Cecillia Maria “Cecie” Larsen Seeley

Born August 6, 1917 in Solvang, CA. Passed away Jan 10, 2002. Beloved wife of the late Frank Watson Seeley. Predeceased by 9 brothers and sisters, Aage, Carl, Nick, John, Philip, Ellen, Eleanor, Louise and Martha; son Alan R. Seeley, and granddaughter Kara Seeley.

Survived by son Jack Seeley, of Northern California; daughter Susan Johnson of Miami and daughter-in-law Lori Seeley, of Simi; 3 grandsons, Kenneth Johnson, Nicklas Seeley and Adam Seeley; sister-in-law Agnes Larsen and Thyra Larse, and many other relatives.

Cecie served in the Navy WAVES in WWII, where she met her husband Frank. They lived in Canoga Park for many years, and were long time members of Epiphany Lutheran Church. Cecie was known for her beautiful garden, as well as her other gardens of irises, calla lilies and many flowering plants and trees. She was also an artist who loved painting landscapes.

Memorial Service 10 a.m. Saturday, February 9, at the Garden Chapel, 7769 Topanga Canyon Blvd, Conoga Pard (818-340-2170). The family suggests contributions to Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org.
