Charlene Seeley

Charlene Seeley age 81 of Greenville died Tuesday November 11, 2008 at Spectrum Health United Memorial Greenville. She was born in Greenville on October 22, 1927 the daughter of Charles and Ila Godfrey Laper and was a graduate of Greenville High School with the class of 1945. She worked for the Western Union for many years and then was the owner and operator of Charlenes Beauty Shop on Van Deinse for many years. She married Donald L. Seeley on December 3, 1949 in Greenville and was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and of the VFW Auxiliary Cleveland Wolverton Post serving as President. She loved cooking and animals.

Her husband preceded her in death on October 24, 1998.She is survived by her sister Esther Laubach and her brother Charles and Ann Laper of Greenville, nieces and nephews; David (Kelly) Arnold, Monica (Jim) Myers, Mike (Ann) Arnold, Chuck (Jody) Laper, Brenda Lutes, Albert Laper, Patti Laper, Kathe Laper, Marnie ( Mike ) Kronkowski, several great and great great nieces and nephews, favorite cousins, sister-in-law Margaret Gunter and her daughter Kathy of Spokane, Washington, special friend Katharine Serviss of Greenville and special friends at Charlenes Beauty Shop Jennifer and Karen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday November 14, 2008 at 11 AM from St. Charles Catholic Church with Rev. Father Phil Salmonowicz as celebrant. Burial will be in East Montcalm Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6-8 PM at Hurst Funeral Home with a vigil service at 6 PM. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Charles Catholic Church
