Charles Henry Seeley, 78, of 121 West Ninth, died in a local hospital early this morning after an extended illness. He was a retired boilermaker for the Union Pacific Railroad. He was born June 2, 1884 in Burlington, Ia., and had been a resident of the North Platte community for the past 60 years.
Survivors include Lloyd "Red" Seeley of Omaha and Charles D. Seeley of Coos Bay, Ore., one daughter, Mrs. Louis (Dorothea) Frager of North Platte; nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Maloney Cox and Kuhns Chapel with the Rev. Emmett Haas of the First Christian Church officiating.
Burial will be in the North Platte Cemetery.

Funeral services for Charles Henry Seeley, 78, who died Saturday, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Maloney Cox and Kuhns Chapel with the Rev. Emmett Haas, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating.
Music was provided by Mrs. Robert Getty and Herb Pearson.
Pallbearers were Jack Daly, Joe Daly, Ed Daly, Don W. Blaesi, Les Patton and Cloyde Moore.
Burial was in the North Platte Cemetery.
