NORWICH – Charles Pirl Seeley, 60, of the Town of Oxford died Friday at the Chenango Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Georgetown, the son of Asa and Olive Beebie Seeley.

He engaged in farming in DeRuyler in his early life. Later he was employed at the Jewelry Box factory in Utica and in construction work in Norwich.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert W. Jones of Norwich; a step-son, Earl F. Sabins of Ericville; a sister, Mrs. George Buckley of West Eaton, and a grandson, Gerald Wilcox of Utica.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Robert J. Fahy Funeral Home, the Rev. J. Harold Davies, pastor of the Broad Street Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Hawk Cemetery, Georgetown.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
