Charles W. Seeley, 80, of Lorain died Monday at Community Health partners in Lorain.

Mr. Seeley was born in New London and lived in Wellington for many years. He moved to Lorain two years ago.

He retired in 1976 after serving as the distributor for the Marathon Oil Co. in the Wellington area for more than 25 years.

Mr. Seeley was a member of the Wellington Masonic Lodge, where he served as master in 1946. He also was a member of the Royal Arch Masons of Wellington.

He is survived by daughter Charlene Brumfield of Winter Haven, Fla.; sons Leland Seeley of Wellington, Thomas Seeley and Douglas Seeley, both of Columbus; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mr. Seeley was preceded in death by his wife, Ellene (nee Croskey) Seeley; parents Orville and Mae (nee Stone) Seeley; and sister Marian McConnell.

Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Norton Funeral Home, 370 South Main St., Wellington.

A private family service will be held Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Philip Kuntz officiating.

Burial will be in Clarksfield Methodist Cemetery.
