July 10, 2007 Charlotte Seeley, 72, of Tully was delivered unto our Lord on the wings of angels July 10, 2007, at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and devoted husband. A native of Shelburne Falls, MA, Charlotte resided in Tully, NY for the past 50 years. Charlotte worked for many years at Park Circle restaurant as a social chemist and was a member to the Lafayette VFW, organizing and hosting many charity events for various organizations, community functions, and private parties. Charlotte will be remembered as an extraordinarily kind and loving person, who especially loved and enjoyed entertaining family and friends. She was a kind and generous woman with an un-ending love for all. Her smile, laughter, and quick wit will be forever in our hearts. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Leonard Seeley; sons, Gary Mitchell of Lake Como, NY and Charles (Paula) Tourot of E. Syracuse; daughters, Darlene (Tom) Haberer of Brewerton, Deborah Fitzgerald of Syracuse, Terry Juchem of Troy, Denise (Carl) Smith of Constantia, Tammy (William) Gary of Syracuse; stepdaughters, Cindy Seeley of Syracuse, Kathy (Bill) Scheuer of Brewerton and Lee (Dan) Pepe of Syracuse; a brother, Harold Mitchell of Greenfield, MA; a sister, Florence Perry of Arizona; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and three stepgrandchildren. Calling hours will be 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday with services to follow immediately at the Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette. Burial will be in Tully Rural Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 356 North Midler Ave., Syracuse, NY 13206. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dr. David Landsburg and his staff at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital ICU Unit for the outstanding and unsurpassed care given to Charlotte while under their care.
