CLARA M. SEELEY, 89, of Colorado Springs died Saturday in Colorado Springs. She had worked for Republic Coal and Coke Co. in Chicago from 1937 until she retired in 1967. Mrs. Seeley previously had worked for the Illinois Railroad from 1918 to 1927.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade Ave., with the Rev. Merill Lanker officiating. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Matteson, Ill.

Mrs. Seeley was born May 14, 1901, in Homewood, Ill., to Frank and Mary (Dunker) Puhrman.

She had lived in Colorado Springs since 1976. Mrs. Seeley was a member of the United Methodist Church of Homewood and a longtime member of the Royal Neighbors.

She is survived by a daughter, Inge Cordova of Colorado Springs; and two grandchildren.
