Clarence Seeley, age 58, of Hamilton, passed away in Tri-County Extended Care Center, Saturday, August 25, 2001, at 9:45 p.m. He was born in Hamilton, on March 29, 1943, the son of Clarence Adrian and Cora (Singleton) Seeley. Clarence was a member of the Moose Lodge #36, the Monkey Mutual Aid Society #1, and the Eagles Lodge #407 and was employed as the bar manager for the Monkey Mutual Aid Society for eighteen years, retiring in 2001. On August 4, 1962, in Hamilton, he was married to Donna Lindsey.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Seeley of Hamilton; his mother and stepfather, Cora and John Merrill Wittenback of Hamilton; one son, Michael and his wife Brenda Seeley of Hamilton, and Marla and her husband Jason Adams of Columbus, Georgia; four brothers, Wayne (Naomi) Seeley of Connersville, Indiana, Benny Seeley of Connersville, Indiana, James (Janie) Seeley of Brookville, Indiana and Rev. Merrill (Debbie) Seeley of Connersville, Indiana; ten sisters, Edith (David) Harper of Griffin, Georgia, Linda (Norman) Gutzwelder of Suman, Indiana, Mary (Curtis) Dalton of Connersville, Indiana, Doris Fairchild of Connersville, Indiana, Lodema (John) Stikelater of Connersville, Indiana, Mildred Watson of Connersville, Indiana, Patricia (Boone) Barrett of Connersville, Indiana, Mary Evelyn Boyd of Hamilton, Sherree Lynn Boeddeker of Norwood, and Marilyn Ruth Hunter of Millville; thirteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Adrian Seeley in 1995; one son, Mark Seeley in 1998; one sister, Myrna Marlene Seeley in 1992; and by one brother, Rev. Edward Lee Seeley in 2000.

Funeral Services will be held at the Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. with his brother, Rev. Merrill Seeley of the Laurel Pentecostal Church, officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 12 noon to 2 p.m.
