Claude M. Seeley, Insurance Man, Dies

Claude M. Seeley, 63, pioneer Pacific Coast insurance magnate and head of the firm which bears his name, with offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle and Vancouver, died yesterday at his Seattle home. He had been ill for some time, and more recently had been compelled to drop business cares. He succumbed following an operation.

Besides his own firm, Seeley was president of the Underwriters’ Finance Corporation. He started his career years ago as an agent in Tacoma. A widow and son, Joseph Bill Seeley survive.
