CLAUDE SEELEY TAKEN BY DEATH

Following a six-week serious illness, Claude Seeley, 70, of 1421 Broadway, died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in his home. He had been in failing health for six months.

Born in Fulton County, O., March 6, 1876, the son of Isaac and Elizabeth Seeley, he had been a resident of Clark County about 20 years. He was a member of the Beulah Chapel Brethren in Christ Church.

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Fred Mack, of Morenei, Mich., four half-sisters, Miss Ida Mae Seeley and Miss Carrie Seeley, both of Springfield, Mrs. Albert Ratcliff, Springfield, Route 2, Mrs. C.L. Quinn of Anderson, Ind.; three half-brothers, Perley R., Seeley, Bellefontaine, Lester V. Seeley of Springfield and D. Stanley Seeley, Hillards, O., and a number of nieces and nephews.

The body was removed to the Jackson-Lytle funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted in the Beulah Chapel Brethren in Christ Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Carl J. Clery, pastor, in charge. Burial will be in Morenci, Mich.
