JAY – Clayton M. Seeley, 85, died Wednesday, July 27, 1994, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born May 27, 1909, in Poughkeepsie, the son of John H. and Mary (Simmons) Seeley.

For many years, he was a trust officer of Marine Midland Bank in New York City. He then retired making his home in AuSable Acres in Jay.

There are no immediate survivors, just a dear friend, Alice Colangelo of Jay.

There will be no calling hours. Cremation was at Whispering Maples Crematory in Ellenburg Depot.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 6, at 2 p.m. at the Whiteface Community United Methodist Church in Wilmington. Burial will be at Saddle River Reformed Church Cemetery in New Jersey at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Whiteface Community United Methodist Church or the AuSable Forks Volunteer Ambulance Service.

The Zaumetzer-Sprague Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
