Clinton H. “Hoppy” Seeley, 84, of Slippery Rock, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Saturday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born June 22, 1909, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Charles and Maryanna Hewitt Seeley.

Mr. Seeley was a retired steel worker for J & L Steel Co. in Pittsburgh.

He was active in the Slippery Rock Senior Center and was affiliated with Slippery Rock Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by three sons, Clinton Seeley Jr. of Missouri, Wayne Seeley of Phelps, N.Y., and Gary Seeley of Los Angeles; a daughter, Janice Miknevich of Findley Township; 10 grandchildren; and a special friend, Ernia Osborne.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Olga Mae Seeley.

SEELEY – Friends of Clinton H. “Hoppy” Seeley of Slippery Rock, formerly of Pittsburgh, who died Saturday, Feb. 12, 1994, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Beinhauer Mortuary, 2630 W. Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the mortuary with the Rev. William A. Hower officiating. Burial will be in the Jefferson Memorial Park.

The family requests memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association.
