Shop Owner C.F. Seeley Dies at 75

The owner of Seeley Camera Shop for 23 years, Clyde F. Seeley, 75, of 478 W. Scott St., died at 4:10 a.m. today at St. Agnes Hospital after a short illness.

He was born Sept. 10, 1893 in the city, a son of Edward A. and Emily Jones Seeley. He married Cora A. Meade of Fond du Lac on July 7, 1918 at Rochester, N.Y.

Mr. Seeley served in World War I as an Army aerial photographer. He returned to Fond du Lac with his wife at the end of 1918. His camera shop was located at Forest and Macy in the Empire Building. He later managed the camera department at Huber Bros. Drug Store for 10 years. He was a member of Division Street United Methodist Church and Alpha Phi Class.

Surviving are his widow; one brother, Roy E. of the city; two nephews; and three nieces. He was preceded in death by one brother, George.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at The Candlish Chapel with the Rev. James Saunders officiating. Burial will be in Rienzi Cemetery.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel.

Funeral services for Clyde F. Seeley, who died Monday, were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Candlish Chapel, the Rev. James Saunders officiating.

Mrs. William Stellmacher was at the organ. Burial was in Rienzi Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Clyde Atwell, Edward Schultz, Henry Rucks, Fred Hansen, George Knutson and Claude Feldner.
