Private services for David B. Seeley, 77, of 1301 Pierce St. were Saturday at Moore Mortuary, followed by cremation at Fairmount.

Seeley died Thursday at St. Anthony Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born July 16, 1895, in La Junta, Colo., and attended public school there. He married Louise M. Nieber in 1918. She died in 1966.

Seeley worked for the Gardner Denver Co. and its predecessor, the Denver Rock Drill Manufacturing Co., from 1917 until his retirement in 1960 and was its export and traffic manager.

He was a member of Union Lodge No. 7, AF & AM, of which he was master in 1926; Denver Chapter No. 2, Royal Arch Masons; Denver Council No. 1; Royal and Select Masters; Colorado Commandery No. 1 Knights Templar; Lakewood County Club; Gardner-Denver Retired Employees Association Colorado Senior Golfers Association, and the World Trade and Traffic Club of Denver.

He was a member and chairman of the Committee on Masonic Education, Grand Lodge, AF & AM of Colorado, from 1938 until his death and was treasurer of the Research Lodge and Memorial Lodge No. 1 of Colorado.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Irene L. Brown, Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Mrs. Martha E. Fairbanks, Lakewood; a brother, Frank L., Inglewood, Calif.; five grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
