Publication David M. Seeley, 50, of Washington, NJ, passed away on November 14, 2011 in Newark, NJ.

Born: March 15, 1961 in Phillipsburg; a son of Charles and Ruth Seeley of Port Colden, NJ.

Personal: David was a supervisor at Vollers Excavating in Whitehouse Station, NJ, and the Laborers Union, Local 472 where he was a member for 32 years.

He was a graduate of Warren Hills High School, class of 1979, where he played varsity football and wrestled.

David attended Sunday school at Port Colden United Methodist Church where he volunteered for many of their fundraising breakfasts and dinners.

David loved NASCAR and cheering on his favorite driver Mark Martin. He was a fan of the NY Yankees and enjoyed watching College and NFL football. David loved the outdoors, he was an avid hunter, loved to go camping, and enjoyed his annual trip to Ocean City, MD. Even the cold weather could not keep David indoors, his winter hobbies included snowmobiling and running his John Deere snowplow. David loved to laugh and make others laugh. His contagious smile and laugh brought life to every party. David was a great cook and enjoyed trying new things when he prepared for his weekly Sunday dinners with his family. His greatest love of all was that of his family and his many friends. David will be missed by all who knew him.

Memberships: Mountain Meadow Lodge Hunting Camp and the Run Rod & Gun Club, both of Townsend, DE.

Survivors: his loving daughter, Stephanie and her husband, Jestin Davie of Washington; his caring parents, Charles and Ruth Seeley of Port Colden, NJ; his beloved sister, Jamie Kavelak and her husband Timothy of Townsend, DE; maternal grandmother, Margaret Hann of Port Colden, NJ; a nephew, Joshua Kavelak; and a niece, Haley Kavelak both of Townsend, DE.

Services: Visiting hours will be on Friday, November 18, 2011 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Faith Discovery Church, 33 Brass Castle Rd, Washington, NJ 07882, with Pastor Joan Palmer officiating. Cremation was private.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Processing Center, 6725 Lyons St., PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234. W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
