DANVILLE - Deloris Seeley, 71, of Danville died at 11 a.m. Friday (Sept. 26, 2003) at home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville. Pastor Doug Hargrave will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Seeley was born Dec. 19, 1931, in Eugene, Ind., a daughter of Chester and Daisey Tate Strohl. She married Clyde Seeley on Jan. 2, 1953, in Danville. He died in 1996.

Survivors include two sons, Mike Seeley of Tilton and Myron Seeley of Iowa; two daughters, Mariann Mariage and Marsha Comrie, both of Danville; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a brother, two sisters and a grandson.

Mrs. Seeley graduated from Lakeview Medical Hospital School of Nursing in Danville in 1952 and worked at Lakeview Hospital in Danville for Dr. Good, Dr. Lipton and Dr. Rakall. She also worked at Danville Care Nursing Center in Danville and Veterans Administration Medical Center in Danville. She retired in 1992.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
