Doris E. Seeley, 85, of Johnson City, died Tuesday, July 24, 2001, at the James G. Johnston Nursing Home. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Wilbur S. Seeley, Hilltop Manor- Johnson City; one step son and his wife, John and Nancy Seeley, Doylestown, Pa.; one step daughter and husband, Joan and George Riley, Parker Heights, Tex.; one cousin, Jean Landis, Denver, Colo. She was a life long employee of the Cooperative Extension and a member of the Boulevard United Methodist Church. A funeral and committal service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main St., Johnson City. Her pastor the Rev. C. Earle Cowden, will officiate. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, at 10 a.m. until time of the service at the Barber Memorial Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the memorial fund of the Boulevard United Methodist Church, 113 Grant Blvd., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905.
