SEELEY, Dorothy C. 81, went to be with the Lord on April 17, 2009. She was born on June 1, 1927, in Erie, Pennsylvania. She was raised in Callahan, FL; attended Westminster College in Pennsylvania and returned to Jacksonville, Florida, and a position with the telephone company. She met her husband at the USO while he was stationed in Jacksonville, FL. They moved to Dayton, OH, and lived there for 45 years. They had 2 daughters. Dorothy was mainly a homemaker, but also worked for Square D, the Board of Elections and was a seamstress. She enjoyed gardening and growing African violets, crocheting, embroidering, bible studies, and jigsaw puzzles. Dorothy and her husband were active members of Fairhaven Church in Kettering, OH. She and her husband moved to Arlington, TX, in 2003. She will be buried in Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington, TX next to her husband. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lynford C. and Susan Anna Campbell, her brother, Clifton Campbell, daughter, Linda Dubel, and husband, Rodney (Bob) Seeley. She is survived by her, daughter, Nancy Measures, and her husband William of Arlington, TX, and her sister Nedora Wiggins, and her husband, Richard of Yellow Springs, OH, and many nieces and nephews.
