Dorothy Mae Seeley, born March 12, 1925, in Jermyn, died at home Wednesday in Ottisfield, Maine. She is survived by her husband, Pastor Earl Seeley.

She was the daughter of Stanford Glaze and Grace Adeline Thomas Collins

She is also survived by three sons, Earl R. Seeley, Ottisfield, Edwin C. Seeley, Warrensburg, N.Y., and Gaston W. Seeley, Sanford, Maine; two daughters, Mary Ann Steward, Ottisfield, and Martha M. Joy, Sanford; a brother, Lester L. Collins, Simi Valley, Calif.; a sister, Agnes C. Coulter, Fallsdale; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Thomas, Edwin, Elmer and Stanford.

Funeral services will be Friday at Halls Funeral Home, Quaker Ridge Road, Casco, Maine. Burial in the Togas, Maine, Military Cemetery.

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Seeley

OTISFIELD - Dorothy Mae Seeley, 79, of Bolsters Mills Rd. died Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at her home. She was born in German, PA on March 12, 1925, a daughter of Stanford and Grace Collins. When she was 16 she attended Hornell Bible School and at the age of 34 she began her ministry career in Rochester, NY. Mrs. Seeley served in the ministry for 32 years until she became too ill to continue. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. On October 30, 1942 she married her childhood sweetheart and soulmate, Earl E. Seeley. Mr. and Mrs. Seeley worked together in ministry for the entire 62 years they were married. Surviving are her husband; three sons, Earl Robert Seeley, Edwin Clyde Seeley and Gaston William Seeley; two daughters, Mary Ann Stuart and Martha Mae McCormick; her sister, Agnes Colter; her brother, Lester Collins; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Visiting hours were held Thursday, December 30 at Hall Funeral Home, 165 Quaker Ridge Rd., Casco where a funeral service was held Friday.
