SEELEY, MR. DOUGLAS RAY Coopersville Douglas Ray Seeley, age 66, of Coopersville, died June 4, 2011 after a brief illness. He was born in Muskegon, October 5, 1944 to Elizabeth Beukema Seeley and Ray Bennett Seeley. He was a 1963 graduate of Muskegon High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Grand Rapids. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Daniel. He is survived by his sister, Ellen A. Brubaker (John Ross Thompson) of Grand Rapids; four nieces and nephews, Cathy Brubaker-Clarke (Doug) of Muskegon, Anne Brubaker Stagner (Todd) of Battle Creek, Daniel C. Brubaker (Tamara) of Lowell, Michael R. Brubaker (Annie) of Grand Rapids; 12 great nephews and nieces; two great great nephews; and one great great niece. A prayer service will be held at 1:30 PM Sunday, June 26, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 4301 Ambrose Avenue NE, Grand Rapids.
