E. ALICE SEELEY, 95

TEMPLETON - E. Alice Hendrickson Seeley, 95, formerly of South Main Street, East Templeton, a retired pharmacy clerk, died yesterday in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner, after an illness.

Her husband, George Seeley, died in 1984. Her first husband, of 52 years, Arne J. Henrickson, died in 1973. She leaves a son, Arnold J. Hendrickson of Gardner; two sisters, Bertha Kendall of Ludlow, Vt., and Martha Ebo of Springfield, Vt.; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. A son, Harold E. Hendrickson of Nashua, N.H., died in 1975. She was born in Gloucester, daughter of Adolf and Sofia (Pihlairsalo) Peterson, and was raised in Springfield, Vt. She lived here many years before moving to Gardner about 1985.

Mrs. Seeley was a sales clerk at Parke Snow's department store in Gardner before she retired. She previously worked at Goodnow Pearson Co. and Hedstrom Union Co., both in Gardner.

She was a life member and past matron of Jessamine Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She was a former member of East Templeton United Methodist Church, its Women's Group and the Templeton Woman's Club.

A funeral service will be private. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Burn Institute, 51 Blossom St., Boston, 02114. Smith Funeral Home, 69 Vernon St., Gardner, is directing arrangements.
