Earl D. Seeley, 86, of Shepherd died Friday, Feb. 14, 1986 at Michigan Community Hospital in Mt. Pleasant.

Services are scheduled fro 1:30 p.m. today at the Glad Tidings Church in Oil City with the Rev. Bill Health and the Rev. Dill Cupp, both of the Glad Tidings Church, officiating. Burial will be at the Kelly Cemetery in Oil City.

Friends may call at the Stinson-Hel Funeral Home in Mr. Pleasant today from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the Glad Tidings Church Tuesday after 12:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Glad Tiding Church Building Fund or Central Michigan Community Hospital Intensive Care Unit. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

Mr. Seeley was born on Jan. 20, 1900, in Gratiot County to Amer and Mary Jane (Mullin) Seeley. He married Margaret Dennings Nov. 6, 1954, in Oil City.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maude.

Mr. Seeley, who was a lifelong resident of the area, was a member of Glad Tidings Church. He was a retired farmer and was employed as a custodian at Central Michigan University for 16 years, retiring in 19__. He was the sexton for Chippewa Cemetery for 15 years.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret, seven daughters, Mrs. __ (Thelma) Opdycke and Mrs. Hurshel (Barbara) Wilder, both of S__ gis, Doris Lytle of White Pigeon, Mrs. Arlie (Helen) Kindig, Mrs. Gerald (Fay) McCaul, and Earlene Seeley, all of Shepherd, Larry (Pauline) Smith of Mt. Pleasant; two sons, David and Will both of Shepherd, a brother, Henry Seeley of Shepherd, a sister __ Robinson of Shepherd; 30 grandchildren; and 33 great grandchildren.
