Virginia Beach – Earl Emerson Seeley, beloved husband of Julia P. Seeley, died in Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital July 16, 2002, after a short illness.

Dorothy Seeley predeceased him. He leaves behind his daughter, Diane Medina and husband Sam of Virginia Beach; two sons, Donald Seeley and wife Ann and Dennis Seeley, all of Atlanta, Ga.; three sisters, Olive Evans and husband Bill of Delray Beach, Fla., Irene Gooch of New Hampshire and Jean Eugley and husband Percy of Maine; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Earl was retired from Imperial and Compo Shoe, after having worked as a shoe machine salesman and district manager for more than 40 years in the New England and Pennsylvania/Ohio areas.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2228 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Edward L. Moore Sr. A light reception will follow. Burial will be at a later date at Colonial Grove Memorial Park Maestas Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
