Edgar Seeley of 220 Hayden Ave. died yesterday in St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was a retired machinist.

Born in Ovid, Mr. Seeley lived in Syracuse 60 years. He retired in 1958 from Continental Can Co. He was a communicant of St. Brigid-St. Joseph’s Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Ryan Seeley; three sons, James F. Robert and Thomas Seeley; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Way and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 8:15 a.m. Friday in the Harold E. Hoare Funeral Home and at 9 in St. Bridgid-St. Joseph’s Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.

Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
