Funeral services for Edith B. Seeley, 89 of 225 Wooster St., will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Harold Dicken Funeral Home in Elyria with the Rev. Willis Hull officiating.

Mrs. Seeley died Sunday in Doctor’s Hospital in Lakeworth, Fla., after a one day illness. She had been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Harriett Walkden.

Born in North Ridgeville, May 30, 1890, Mrs. Seeley had been an Elyria resident 67 years.

She formerly taught in the North Ridgeville and Fields Corner school systems and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Seeley is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Walkden, Lakeworth, Fla., and Mrs. Wade E. (Marian) Shepard, Elyria, four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace G. in 1951

Friends may call at the funeral home 7 – 9 tonight.

Burial will be in the Brookdale Cemetery.
