SEELEY, ELDON AFTON
With great sadness the family of Eldon Afton Seeley, of Rockland, NB, announce his passing at the Halifax Infirmary Hospital on Saturday, July 9, 2005. Eldon was born March 5, 1938 in Ashland, NB and was the son of the late Afton and Viola (Clendenning) Seeley. Eldon was a true New Brunswicker and his greatest joys in life were his family, fishing, hunting, four wheeling, snowmobiling and talking with his many friends. Eldon worked for years in the Fredericton area as a plumber prior to moving to Rockland in the mid eighties where he started his own plumbing business. He will be greatly missed by his cherished wife Elaine (Brewer) Seeley of Rockland, NB, his four daughters and their families; Cindy Seeley of Stanley, NB, her children Conor and Meghan Dougherty, Terri (Tom) Neville of North Delta, BC, Roberta (Kevin) Yandon of Edmonton, AB, their children Kyra and Drew Yandon, Brenda (Mark) Alward of Nackawic, NB, their children Hannah and Alison Alward, sisters; Glenna (Eugene) Stephenson of Mount Pleasant, NB, Donna Brown of Moore's Mill, NB, Joan (Malcolm) Dykens of Brampton, ON, and brother, William (Marjorie) Seeley of Oakville, ON. Eldon is predeceased by his sister Leota Seeley. Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, High Street, Hartland, visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday from the Coldstream Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Horsman officiating. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Rockland. Donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or donor's choice would be appreciated.
