Catskill – Eleanor L. Seeley of 104 Jefferson Heights died Saturday, July 26, 2003 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson. She was 74.

A native of Catskill, she worked for the Catskill Central School District at Irving School prior to retirement.

Born June 22, 1929, in Catskill, she was the daughter of the late William and Eleanor Roe Hughes.

Her husband, Lyle B. Seeley, died Sept. 6, 1996.

Survivors include two sons, Lyle S. of Elizaville and Jeffrey of Catskill; a daughter, Dawn of Catskill; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at Town of Catskill Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Traver & McCurry Funeral Home, 234 Jefferson Heights, Catskill.

A native Catskillian, Mrs. Seeley was born June 22, 1929, the daughter of the late William and Eleanor (Roe) Hughes.

She was employee of the Catskill Central School District at Irving School prior to her retirement.

Survivors include her two sons, Lyle S. Seeley of Elizaville and Jeffrey Seeley of Catskill; a daughter, Dawn A. Seeley of Catskill; five grandchildren, Vincent Seeley, Vanessa Seeley, Stacey Poloskey and Ashley Seeley, all of Catskill; and Justin Seeley of Elizaville; one great-granddaughter, McKenzie Seeley of Catskill; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Seeley was predeceased by her husband, Lyle B. Seeley on Sept. 6, 1996.

There will be no calling.

Private cremation was performed at Park View Cemetery in Schenectady.

Graveside funeral services will be held in the Town of Catskill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Funeral services are under the direction of the Traver & McCurry Funeral Home.
