Mrs. Eliza Seeley

The death of Eliza Seeley occurred in the city Tuesday morning. Born in Hundon, Suffolk, England, Mrs. Seeley came to Canada in 1910, residing in Boissevain until her marriage to George Seeley in 1908, (as printed) when they took up residence in Punnichy, Sask. Following her husband’s death, she returned to Boissevain. In 1933 she moved to Brandon, where she has resided since. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. James Hodgson (Irene) of Transcona, and two grandchildren, Barrie Hodgson, Yorkton, Sask., and Lois McIntyre of Saskatoon. There are also six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers, David, John, Gabriel and Arthur Orriss of Boissevain and Harry in England. Mrs. Seeley has been a life-long member of the Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, and interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Eliza Seeley

Funeral services for the late Eliza Seeley, whose death occurred in the city Tuesday morning, was held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel Thursday afternoon. Members of the Rebekah Lodge attended in a group. Rev. Lorne Smith of First Baptist Church officiated. Interment was in the Westlawn Memorial Gardens.
