Elmer Seeley Sr.


Elmer, Sr. Age 77, of Arnot, PA, died Sunday, September 21, 2003, at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, PA. Elmer was the husband of Helen (Perry) Seeley. He was born on June 2, 1926, the son of Elmer and Lela Seeley. Elmer was a lifelong farmer. He was a veteran of the US Navy, having served in WWII. Elmer is survived by his wife, Helen; five sons, Elmer Seeley, Jr. of Arnot, PA, Eugene (Joyce) Seeley of Mainesburg, PA, Donnie (Judy) Seeley of Mosherville, PA, Timothy (Pam) Seeley of Antrim, PA, Robert (Janet) Seeley of Elmira, NY; four daughters, Donna (Keith) Parthemer of Hunt, NY, Sylvia Cook of Maine, Bonnie (Bob) Holmus of Mainesburg, PA, Linda Meeks of Covington, PA; 38 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren that Elmer and Helen raised, Timmy Ribble, Michael Ribble and Terry Graybell; several other great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, William Seeley of Harrison Valley, PA; two sisters, Mary Wales of Jackson Summitt and Louise Dixon of Tioga, PA. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 25, 2003, from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held immediately following the viewing at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Salem St. Paul Cemetery, Liberty Twp., Tioga Co. PA.
