She was 89 years old. She is survived by her husband, Paul W. Seeley; son, Fred L. Seeley; daughters, Pauline Lynne Jeffs and Lynette S. Spiker, and her brother Fred Lowell Petersen. Elvera was born on January 19, 1921, in Penrose, Utah, and was the first child of four born to Fred Lyman Petersen and Olive Miller Petersen. She graduated from Box Elder High School in 1938 and graduated from Thomas D. Dee Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, in Ogden, Utah, in 1941. She married the love of her life, Paul, on May 4, 1943 in the Salt Lake Temple. They enjoyed nine days short of 67 years of making wonderful memories together. Elvera worked as a Registered Nurse at the Tooele Clinic for over 30 years. She really enjoyed helping people and always had a smile on her face. Everyone said she gave the best shots in town! In her younger years, she was an outstanding tennis and softball player and competitive swimmer. She was President of the Girls Athletic Club in high school. She and Paul enjoyed Dinner Dance Club, Bridge Club, bowling leagues, fishing, camping and many wonderful family vacations. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and the Lady Lions Club. She understood and enjoyed many sports - Pro football, tennis, Jazz Basketball and any BYU or University of Utah team! Elvera loved and enjoyed life! Even though she loved working, she found the time and energy to support all of her children's' activities and interests. Elvera loved her family so much. She was a loving mother, wonderful neighbor and a friend to all. All her children, grandchildren, and even the oldest great-grandchild share wonderful and everlasting memories of her. She was always there in time of need or when we just needed someone to talk to. She always gave great advice and encouragement, always reminding us that "This too, shall pass". We all love her so much and are so proud of our beautiful mother!!!
